PayPal is the only money rail on Spinzo24
Spinzo24 made a deliberate decision very early in 2026: every dollar that enters or leaves the platform travels through PayPal. No credit-card forms, no crypto, no third-party UPI gateways, no bank-wire forms. This single-rail approach makes the wallet model simple, keeps fraud rates low, and means every player on the platform plays by exactly the same payment rules. This guide explains those rules in full.
The three-balance wallet — Deposit, Winnings, Referral
Every Spinzo24 account has three separate balances. They look like one balance on the home screen, but they behave very differently:
- Deposit balance — funded by PayPal. The only balance that can pay contest entry fees. Fully refundable to PayPal at any time, minus a tiny PayPal handling fee.
- Winnings balance — prize money credited at the end of a contest. Withdraw-only. You cannot use winnings to pay for another entry.
- Referral bonus balance — money earned by inviting friends through your referral link. Also withdraw-only.
The separation is intentional. It is the single most important player-protection rule on the platform — it physically prevents the "let me just roll my winnings into one more entry" cycle that has historically destroyed players on other contest platforms. Depositing money via PayPal
From any page on Spinzo24, tap the wallet icon in the bottom navigation, then tap Add Balance. You will see a vertical list of preset amounts ($1.99, $4.99, $9.99, $24.99, $49.99, $99.99, $249.99) and a "Custom amount" field that accepts any value from $1.99 to $5,000.
Pick your amount, tap Continue, and you will be redirected to a standard PayPal checkout page. Approve the payment with your usual PayPal flow — email + password, biometric in the PayPal app, or PayPal One-Touch if you have it enabled — and within a few seconds you land back on the wallet screen with the new balance reflected in your Deposit balance.
Important rules on deposits:
- Currency: All deposits in 2026 are in USD only. Players from non-USD regions are charged the PayPal-displayed exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
- Daily deposit cap: $5,000 per 24 hours per account by default. Higher caps require KYC verification.
- Monthly cap: any value you set on the Responsible Play page. We strongly recommend setting one before your second deposit.
- Failed deposits: if PayPal declines for any reason (insufficient balance, country restriction, expired linked card), no money leaves your account and no balance is credited. Try again with a different funding source inside PayPal.
Withdrawing winnings back to PayPal
From the bottom nav, tap Withdraw. You will see two amounts displayed: your available Winnings balance and your available Referral balance. The Deposit balance is intentionally hidden here — withdrawing your raw deposit is a different flow (the "Refund deposit" option on the Add Balance page, used rarely).
Enter any amount up to (Winnings + Referral) total, confirm the PayPal email on your file is correct, and tap Withdraw to PayPal. The platform creates a payout request and emails you a confirmation immediately.
Typical payout times in 2026:
- Under $500: 2 to 4 hours, often instant.
- $500 – $5,000: within 24 hours.
- Over $5,000: KYC verification is triggered before payout — usually completed within 24 hours by our compliance partner once you submit the document.
- Over $50,000: additional source-of-funds review. Spinzo24 has paid out several seven-figure prizes since the start of 2026, all within five business days.
KYC — what it is, when it triggers
KYC ("Know Your Customer") is a one-time identity verification that lets us pay out large amounts under international anti-money-laundering rules. Most players never need it because most withdrawals are under $5,000. But when you cross that threshold even once, KYC kicks in.
The KYC document set in 2026 is intentionally lightweight:
- Government-issued photo ID — passport, driving licence, or national ID card

PayPal typically clears it within 30 minutes and the balance lands automatically. If still pending after 4 hours, open a support ticket from the Spinzo24 Support page.
Error: "Withdraw failed — PayPal email mismatch." Cause: the PayPal email on your Spinzo24 profile is different from your PayPal account email. Fix: open Profile, update the PayPal email, save, then re-submit the withdrawal.
Error: "Your withdrawal requires KYC verification." Cause: cumulative withdrawal total has crossed the $5,000 lifetime threshold. Fix: follow the KYC link in the error message. Verification is one-time and takes a few minutes.
PayPal fees on Spinzo24
Spinzo24 itself does not charge any deposit or withdrawal fee — every cent of your deposit lands as Deposit balance, and every cent of your prize lands as Winnings balance. The only fee is PayPal's own:
- USD-to-USD deposits and withdrawals inside the US are typically free.
- Cross-border deposits and withdrawals are subject to PayPal's standard ~3-4% currency conversion fee.
That fee is taken by PayPal at the time of the transaction. It is the same fee you would pay using PayPal anywhere else online.

People sometimes ask: "Why not card forms? Why not crypto? Wouldn't more options be better?" The honest answer is no, not for a contest platform of this size. PayPal-only gives players four real-world benefits:
- PayPal Buyer Protection covers every deposit. If anything ever went wrong, you have a documented payment trail through PayPal's dispute system.
- No card data on Spinzo24 servers. We literally never see your card number — PayPal handles all of that.
- Stable, predictable currency rails. No crypto volatility surprises, no chargebacks weeks after a contest paid out, no wire-transfer cut-off windows.
- One-tap payouts. Your money goes back to the exact same place it came from, in the same currency, on the same name. Clean, simple, regulator-friendly.
Can I link multiple PayPal accounts to one Spinzo24 account?
No. The PayPal email on file at the time of your most recent deposit is the email all withdrawals are routed to. Changing the PayPal email is allowed at any time on the Profile page, but the new email triggers a 24-hour security delay before the first withdrawal can run on it. This is a deliberate anti-fraud rule — it prevents account takeover scenarios where an attacker would otherwise switch the payout email and drain a wallet within minutes.
If you genuinely need to switch (you opened a new PayPal account, your old one was closed by PayPal, etc.), just open Profile, update the email, save, and wait one day. After that the new email behaves like a normal payout destination.
Refunding an unused deposit
Spinzo24 lets you refund unused deposit money back to PayPal at any time — there is no "use it or lose it" pressure on your deposit balance. The flow is intentionally hidden behind a confirm step on the Add Balance page (we do not want this to be the path of least resistance during a tilt session, so it is two taps deeper than a withdrawal). Tap Refund deposit, confirm the amount, and the money returns to your PayPal account through PayPal's own refund pipeline. Typical timing is identical to a withdrawal: 2 to 24 hours.
Taxes on Spinzo24 winnings
Spinzo24 cannot give country-specific tax advice — your local tax authority decides whether prize money from a spin-based contest counts as ordinary income, gambling income, or a tax-free hobby payout. The platform does, however, give you the data you need to file. From your Profile page you can export a full annual transactions report in CSV format, listing every deposit, every entry, every winning, every withdrawal, with timestamps. Hand that report to your tax advisor and they will know exactly how to file in your jurisdiction.
What happens to my balance if I close my Spinzo24 account?
Closing your account is a two-step flow on the Profile page. Step one prompts you to withdraw any positive Winnings or Referral balance — you cannot proceed until that balance is at zero (either withdrawn or, for very small leftover amounts, donated to our partner Responsible Play foundation). Step two refunds any remaining Deposit balance back to your PayPal account on file. Once both balances are zero, the account is anonymised within 30 days in compliance with our privacy policy.
